Thank you @salthilljournal!
My essay is about earthquakes in San Francisco and the Philippines, love and loss, grief and survival, how we become who we are through the many different ways our stories are shaped by what happens beneath our feet, and how our stories will be told after we're all gone.
Many thanks to Antonio Iannarone, Katia Noyes, Frank Cimatu, and Nonnette Bennett for this geologic journey.
